Bathtime fun!

Every now and then I will let the boys take a bath together. They have a great time, and I get very wet!! Here they are having lots of fun.

When Babies attack and other stories

Aiden and Liam are so funny together. Liam is such a little bruiser, he just goes for Aiden. I call him my monster baby, he just runs over everything. In fact, one of his favorite toys is Aiden's monster truck "gravedigger". (Thanks Uncle Noah for that one!) Him and Aiden love to roll around together, I just know we're in for a lot of rowdiness once Liam gets bigger. Here are some pics of my monster baby attacking his big brother.



Liam is just getting better and better at standing, he can pull to stand on anything he gets his hands on and is starting to do a bit of furniture surfing. He prefers his brother's toys to any of the baby toys we have but there is one that he loves. Its a stand and play toy that is obnoxiously loud but he loves it and will stand and play at it with a look of glee in his eyes.



Here's a pic of how you will see Liam a lot of the time. Not necessarily at that toy but standing. At the coffee table, the couch, my leg, anything!!!



In Aiden news, he started riding a bike this year! We actually bought it for him last summer, but he just wasn't ready for it. He would sit on it but didn't get the whole pedalling thing. A month or two ago we broke it out again and he hopped on and started riding! He loves it so much and its so cute to watch him pedal it around. Here's a pic of my growing up boy riding along.

News n stuff!

The kids are feeling better, the cold ended up being not too serious and didnt even get Justin and I. Yay! Liam is a crawling maniac, he's getting into everything. He can be so mischevious. I just know this kid is gonna give me a heart attack. He is such a dare devil and isn't scared of anything. Aiden has always been cautious and careful guy, sort of a "look before you leap" kinda person. I realize this even more now that I have Liam. Liam is fearless! Its amazing how different my two boys are, but they love each other and get along great! I love watching them play together.

Here are some more pics. They are older(from feb.) but I wanted to share. Aiden got his first "real" haircut the end of February. Until then it had been "mom's specialty" aka - a bowl cut. It was cute and all but he was not letting me get near him with scissors and it was getting out of control. So I took him to a salon and had them do it. I couldnt believe how well he did! What a difference it makes when it's not mom with the scissors! The only thing he didnt let them do was use the clippers in the back. Here are the before and after pics. Can you believe what a difference a haircut makes? Its grown out a bit now, but he looks so handsome and more grown up with shorter hair.

Kids are sick again! :(

The kids both have colds again! WTH is up with the sick season this year? We have been sick every month so far this year. Last month it was the flu and that really sucked. Its hard to be mom when you and the kids are sick. Justin and I haven't caught the latest round yet **crossing fingers**. Aiden is coping well despite having a terrible cough but Liam turns into Mr. Crankypants when he's sick. Hopefully it passes quickly.

Aiden was playing with the tunnel that goes to his play tent and I got some pics and made a silly little animation out of it. He is such a funny guy :)

Milestones update and more pics!

So Liam started crawling a little over a week ago. Its so cute and it's made him so much happier. He was very frustrated not being able to move about, he wants to grow up too quickly! He also started pulling to standing and sitting up on his own all within a few days. Its amazing how all of these things happen at the same time, its like his development took a huge leap forward in just a few days. Here are some more new pics of the kids. Liam is finally starting to get a bit of hair! Its just some blond fuzz but its a start! He's been bald for so long, Aiden had quite a bit of hair at 8 months! Now he just needs to sprout some teeth, it seems like he's been "teething" for a while now. I'm not in a hurry though, he can be a bit nippy when it comes to nursing time.

Aiden loves playing with bubbles. He got a bubble making gun for easter and is obsessed with it. Liam loves them too, I swear he is endlessly entertained by Aiden. Here are some pics of them being cute with bubbles.
